What are your opening hours?
Our self-service laundromat is open every day from 6:00am to 11:00pm.
What can I wash or dry?
Everyday clothing, towels, bedding, doonas, blankets and other large items can be washed and dried in our machines — they're built for bulky loads.
What can't I wash or dry?
For safety and machine care, please do not wash or dry shoes unless they are secured in proper shoe bags, curtains that contain hooks, rugs with rubber backing, horse items, or rabbit items.
How do I pay?
You can pay with $1 & $2 coins, card or contactless. Please note there is no change machine on site, so bring the correct coins if paying with cash.
Do you sell detergent?
Yes — detergent and laundry essentials are available on-site if you need them.
Is there somewhere comfortable to wait?
Yes. Our premium customer lounge has comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, USB and power charging, a workstation and a massage chair.
Do you offer dry cleaning?
No. Soap Queens is a premium self-service laundromat with our unique Weekend Transfer Service. We do not offer traditional dry cleaning. Most everyday clothing, towels, blankets and doonas can be safely washed in our machines. If you're unsure about an item, our friendly weekend team is happy to offer advice.
Can I wash pet bedding?
Yes. We have a dedicated pet washer and dedicated pet dryer specifically for pet bedding, blankets and accessories. Please use these machines for all pet items to help keep our standard machines available for everyday laundry.
Do I need to book?
No booking is required. Simply come in during opening hours and use the next available machine.
Can I wash horse items?
No. Horse rugs, saddle blankets and other horse equipment are not permitted in our machines. Buckles and other hardware can damage the machines and create hazards for future customers. Thank you for helping us keep our machines safe for everyone.
